육군 35사단이 주관하고 순창군이 지원하는 6.25전사자 유해 발굴 개토식이 27일 코로나19 감염증 예방을 위해 외부인사 초청 없이 군(軍) 자체 행사로 전북 임실군 예하부대에서 엄수됐다.

이날 개토식에는 김천석(소장) 35사단장과 국방부ㆍ육군본부 등 유해 발굴 담당자와 임실대대 장병 등 100여명이 참석한 가운데 호국영령들의 고귀한 넋을 기리고 유해발굴에 투입되는 장병들의 안전과 성과를 기원했다.
