새로운 희망과 기대 속에 2021년 신축년(辛丑年) 새해가 밝았습니다.

순창군의 새해 사자성어로는 노겸근칙(勞謙謹勅)이라고 정했습니다.

'부지런히 애쓰고 겸손하며, 실수가 없도록 삼가고 경계해야 한다'라는 의미를 담고 있습니다.

저 또한 이런 마음가짐으로 올 한 해도 열심히 뛰려고 합니다.

민선 7기를 시작하면서 군정 3대 비전으로 제시한 인구 4만명ㆍ예산 5,000억원ㆍ관광객 500만명을 달성하기 위한 다양한 사업을 발굴해 쉼 없이 달려가겠습니다.

지난해 코로나19 상황에서도 순창의 미래 100년을 책임질 투자선도지구 조성사업은 제 속도를 내면서 부지내 건물들이 속속 들어섰고 강천산을 이을 새로운 관광 콘텐츠인 채계산 출렁다리도 개통됐습니다.

쉴랜드는 기존 건강교육 프로그램을 코로나19 시대에 맞게 비대면 교육 프로그램으로 전환해 전국적인 명성을 이어나갈 수 있었습니다.
