전북경찰청과 국제로타리 3670지구가 사회적 약자 보호 및 범죄피해자 지원을 위해 업무협약을 체결하고 두 손을 맞잡았다.

 

지난 25일 체결된 협약은 '성ㆍ가정ㆍ학교폭력ㆍ학대 피해자 등 사회적 약자에 대한 보호 및 지원'이 주요 골자로 담겼다.

 

이번 협약을 통해 두 기관은 사회적 약자 보호 및 지원에 관련된 민ㆍ‧관 협력의 중요성에 공감해 상호지원을 아끼지 않는다는 계획이다.

 

특히, 전북경찰청이 운영하고 있는 '사회적 약자 피해자 지원위원회'에 국제로타리 3670지구가 경제적 지원에 힘을 보태 시너지 효과를 발휘할 것으로 기대된다.

한편, 전북경찰청이 운영하고 있는 '피해자 지원위원회'에 도내 12개 기업ㆍ단체가 참여해 2013년부터 올 현재까지 총 167개 가정에 주거개선 및 장학금ㆍ생계비 등 4억8,000만원을 지원한 바 있다.
