전북 정읍시립박물관이 문화체육관광부가 주관한 '2021년 스마트 공립박물관ㆍ미술관 구축지원 사업'에 최종 선정됐다.

지역 대표 박물관인 시립박물관은 지역의 역사와 문화를 주제로 상설전시를 비롯 매년 다양한 특별전시를 개최하며 시민들에게 문화향유의 기회를 제공하고 있다.
