전북 전주시가 부모 역할의 중요성과 자녀의 안정적인 학교생활을 돕기 위해 올해 초등학교에 입학하는 자녀를 둔 다문화가정에 10개 언어로 번역된 '초등 가정통신문'을 배포한다.

17일 김승수 전주시장ㆍ전주교육지원청 하영민 교육장ㆍ이지훈 다문화가족지원센터장ㆍ번역에 참여한 결혼이주여성 등이 참석한 가운데 '초등 가정통신문 번역본 책자 발간식'을 가졌다.

이번에 제작된 '초등 가정통신문'은 입학통지서를 받아들고 가슴이 두근거리는 기대감 속에 파생되는 막연한 불안감을 해소를 위해 입학준비ㆍ학교생활 돌보기ㆍ부모의 학교 참여 역할 이해하기 등이 담겼다.
