전북 고창군이 '더 큰 미래로 도약하는 한반도 첫수도'를 골자로 100년 먹거리를 책임질 3조원 상당의 메가 프로젝트를 추진한다.

 

내년부터 2023년까지 진행될 이 프로젝트는 세계문화유산도시의 강점을 살리는 동시에 청정 자연환경ㆍ풍부한 농생명 자원을 특화시킨다는 계획이다.

 

22일 고창군에 따르면 지난 19일 유기상 군수 주재로 부군수ㆍ국장ㆍ부서장 등이 참석한 가운데 국가예산 신규 사업 발굴 및 중점관리사업 보고회를 개최했다.

 

고창군은 단계별 대응 전략을 실행하고 중앙부처와 전북도를 수시로 방문하는 등 긴밀한 협조 체계 강화로 예산확보에 전략적으로 대응할 방침이다.

 

지난해 9월부터 3차례에 보고회를 거치는 절차를 통해 초대형 메가 프로젝트 사업을 확정하고 국가예산 지원을 위한 전략마련에 예열을 마치고 사업 추진에 가속도를 붙이고 있다.

 

먼저, 올해 총 89건에 3,839억원 상당의 사업 예산을 확보했고 2023년 39건 2조9,737억원 등 총 128건 3조3,576억원 규모로 확정했다.
