Jeonju City announced on the 8th that "5,100 workers working in 33 high-risk medical institutions will be vaccinated against Corona 19."

The hospital itself receives the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine, except in cases where the number of vaccinations is less than 20 people.

However, 190 of the staff at Chonbuk National University Hospital, who are directly in charge of treating COVID-19 patients, will be vaccinated by Pfizer vaccine themselves.

In addition, more than 600 first responders to Corona 19, including 119 paramedics, epidemiological investigators, inspection agents, quarantine agents, immigration personnel, and disaster safety countermeasures headquarters, will also receive the AZ vaccine at public health centers by the 12th.

Jeonju City plans to complete the first vaccination for residents and workers in nursing hospitals under the age of 65, residents and workers in nursing homes under the age of 65, and residents and workers in nursing homes and mental health rehabilitation facilities, which have been in progress since the 26th of last month.

The second dose begins 8 weeks after the AstraZeneca vaccine dose interval.

After filling out a precautionary sheet, the vaccination subjects went through an interview with a doctor to see if they had allergic reactions to other vaccines, and then went into the vaccination room and received the vaccine.

The corona 19 vaccination is given to citizens 65 years of age or older, and users and workers of elderly home welfare facilities in the second quarter.

In the third quarter, vaccinations are continued for chronically ill patients and adults aged 19 to 64, and non-vaccinated and secondary inoculations in the fourth quarter.

"We are doing our best to ensure that citizens can get the vaccine with confidence," said Kim Shin-sun, head of the health center. "We will actively participate in vaccinations to form group immunity."

He added, "Even if you have been vaccinated, you will not be immunized right away, so be sure to follow the Corona 19 life prevention rules, such as wearing a mask," he added.

On the other hand, the corona 19 vaccination rate in Tokyo was 60.26% of the 31,028 primary vaccination targets of AstraZeneca (AZ) as of 5 p.m. on the 8th, and 84 of the 1,105 Pfizer vaccination targets ( 7.06%) completed the vaccination and totaled 58.46% (18,784 people).
