Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do is strengthening the home treatment management system so that medical blind spots do not occur due to the government's transition to the COVID-19 daily medical system and the adjustment plan to ease social distancing.

The Central Safety Countermeasures Headquarters announced on the 15th an adjustment plan to completely lift the restrictions on the number of private gatherings and business hours, which had been implemented to prevent and block the spread of COVID-19, from the 18th.

Accordingly, Muju-gun said, "In order to immediately respond to and manage emergency situations in high-risk intensive care groups, such as those aged 60 and over and immunocompromised among home-treated patients, 1:1 dedicated public officials are matched and health monitoring is continuously conducted once a day.

In addition, it plans to promote a one-stop service that delivers self-treatment kits and prescriptions to homes without interruption.

However, general management groups under the age of 60 must visit a medical institution and receive a prescription if they need treatment and prescription while managing their own health.

In particular, in the case of holidays when treatment is difficult due to the closure of non-face-to-face medical institutions in the city, public health doctors at the Health and Medical Center are in charge of non-face-to-face treatment.

An official from the health administration department at Muju-gun Health and Medical Center said, "We will do our best to protect the health and safety of the citizens of the county, such as managing at-home treatment and preventing regional spread, until the COVID-19 situation is adjusted to the endemic stage."

Meanwhile, in Muju-gun, as of 11 am on the 14th, out of 518 home-treated patients, 156, or 30.1%, were managed separately in the intensive management group and 67.1% (320 people) in the general management group.

As of 7 am on the 15th, 58 people were newly tested positive, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases increased to 5,304.

Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom at a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters held at the government complex in Seoul on the morning of the 15th said, "The momentum of Omicron is greatly weakening after peaking in the third week of March." The restrictions on business hours and the limit of the number of private gatherings that allow up to 10 people will be lifted from the 18th."

In addition, "the limit on the number of events, assemblies, and religious facilities that allowed up to 70% of the occupancy capacity, which allowed up to 299 people, will be removed, and the ban on eating and drinking in indoor multi-use facilities such as movie theaters, indoor sports facilities, and religious facilities will be banned from the 25th. They are all released," he added.

However, "a mask is still a very important means of protecting yourself from infection, and it is inevitable to wear a mask indoors for a considerable period of time." explained.
