The city of Iksan, Jeollabuk-do, was selected one after another in large-scale government competitions worth hundreds of won as a tactic for joint cooperation with local politicians and Jeonbuk Province from the early stage of the project conception, and a green light for regional development was lit.

The city of Iksan said, "Despite the adverse conditions of the domestic and external economic downturn this year, with the active support of Governor Kim Kwan-young, Han Byung-do, and Kim Su-hong, and three-dimensional responses to appealing the strengths of the central government, the large-scale national project directly related to the lives of citizens has exceeded 100 billion won. "He said on the 17th.

In particular, the plan is to continuously prepare a strategy to secure large-scale new businesses that link the new government's national tasks and major issues in the city, while also carrying out the second stage of the national food cluster in close cooperation with the human network of the central government and the politicians.

If you look at the large government public offering project that Iksan City recently invited, the 'National Honam Youth Stepping Center', which succeeded in attracting the final bid, beating Gwangju Metropolitan City, will invest about 20 billion won in the future, and by 2026, it will be located in Wari, Hamyeol-eup. A facility equipped with a treatment room and vocational training room will be built.

In addition, the construction of the 'Chungcheong and Jeolla Region Traffic Safety Experience Education Center', which the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport held a public contest in July, was also selected as the final negotiator to strengthen its position as a traffic safety city.

The 'Chungcheong-Jeolla Region Traffic Safety Experience Education Center' is a site of approximately 166,000 square meters in Hamyeol-eup, with a total project cost of KRW 37.5 billion, including KRW 27 billion from the government. facilities are complete.

In addition, in June, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs secured a total of 75 billion won, including the national budget, through an open contest for a rural agreement, enabling the improvement of living service standards in rural areas and upgrading the quality of life of citizens.

This project will be carried out sequentially by dividing it into rural agreements and rural space improvement projects.

First, after signing the agreement in 2023, the total project cost of 43 billion won (local cost 13 billion won) will be invested for five years, including up to 30 billion won from the national budget.

The city of Iksan will invest 32 billion won, including the government budget, for poorly developed areas such as Wanggung Hakho Village Jeonseong Village Hamyeol Hwangdeung Nangsan Wasteseoksan Mountain, and also promote rural space improvement projects.

In addition, in the Information and Communication Planning and Evaluation Institute (IITP) development task contest under the Ministry of Science and ICT, it secured a total project cost of KRW 7.7 billion, including KRW 7.7 billion from the government, for two projects, including commercial vehicles and cultural properties restoration services. It also laid the foundation for this.

Iksan Mayor Jeong Heon-ryul said, "As the national resource distribution method has been expanded to the form of a public offering, we will continue to develop new projects that will lead to rapid and strategic response and regional development through cooperation with Jeonbuk Province and local politicians in the future, so that we can accelerate the creation of a city where citizens are happy. I will collect them," he said.
