The Jeonbuk Branch of the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association has joined hands with the Jeonbuk National Police Agency to support the victims' families who are suffering from criminal acts by the socially disadvantaged and others so that they can regain courage and hope and return to a stable life as soon as possible.

On the 20th, at the Mugunghwa Art Hall of the Jeonbuk National Police Agency, Jeonbuk Police Agency Commissioner Kang Hwang-soo (Public Security Officer) and Park Young-sook, president of the Jeonbuk Branch of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, signed a business agreement with the aim of 'protecting and supporting the socially disadvantaged such as children, women, and the elderly'.

This MOU is designed to support the rapid recovery of victims of sexual, family, school violence, and abuse to their daily lives by establishing a cooperative system between the two organizations to protect and support the socially disadvantaged.

In particular, it contains the protection and support for crime victims signed in 2015 and practical support that includes even the socially disadvantaged.

According to the agreement, the Jeonbuk branch of the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association participates in the 'Joint Council for the Protection of the Socially Vulnerable' of the Jeonbuk National Police Agency to provide living expenses and daily necessities to those who suffer psychologically and economically from various crimes.

We will do our best to build a public-private partnership so that the socially disadvantaged can lead a safe and peaceful daily life."

He added, "We expect that this MOU, which is the golden time for victim protection, will contribute to the establishment of differentiated protection measures and systems tailored to local circumstances." As such, we ask for guidance and advice on various policies."

Park Sook-young, president of the Jeonbuk branch of the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association, said, "We will cooperate with the Jeonbuk Police Department to provide economic support, even if it is the most powerful, so that there are no socially disadvantaged people who are lonely without help in the province."
