70년간 잠들어 있는 6.25전사자들의 값진 헌신이 세상의 빛을 볼 수 있도록 유해 발굴 작전이 전개된다.

 

육군 35사단이 주관하고 전북 정읍시가 지원하는 6.25전사자 유해 발굴 개토식이 22일 군() 자체 행사로 예하부대인 정읍김제대대에서 엄수됐다.

 

이날 개토식에는 오혁재(소장) 35사단장과 국방부육군본부 등 유해 발굴 장병지역 유관기관 관계자 등 100여명이 참석한 가운데 호국영령들의 고귀한 넋을 기리고 유해발굴에 투입될 장병들의 안전과 성과를 기원했다.
