전북 무주군이 생물과 관련된 면밀한 조사연구 및 정보교환을 위해 전북대학교와 두 손을 맞잡았다.

 

7일 황인홍 무주군수와 전북대학교 김동원 총장이 다양한 생물의 연구와 교육ㆍ전시 등에 따른 인적ㆍ물적 교류를 주요 골자로 업무협약을 체결했다.

 

이날 업무협약에 따라 무주 곤충박물관과 전북대 자연사박물관은 ▲ 생물 관련 학술조사 확보 및 공동 연구개발 ▲ 생물표본 및 연구시설 이용 ▲ 생물 관련 교육 및 전시분야 협력 ▲ 다양한 생물보존 관련 기술 정보와 인적교류 등을 교환한다.

 

특히, 향후 5년간 업무협약의 효력이 발생하는 만큼 양 기관의 교류 및 조사 연구가 활발하게 진행될 것으로 전망된다.

한편, 설천면 반디랜드에 둥지를 틀고 있는 무주 곤충박물관은 장수벌레ㆍ사슴벌레ㆍ딱정벌레ㆍ하늘소 등 2,000종(種) 1만여마리의 세계 희귀곤충 표본과 고생대와 신생대의 화석 등이 전시돼 있다.
