Reporter Kim Hyun-jong

At 9 am on the 26th, the Corona 19 AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccination began in 9 cities and counties in Jeollabuk-do.

On this day, vaccination is targeted at nursing hospitals, nursing facility workers, and residents who are concerned about group infection, and the No. 1 inoculation in the province was headed by Chamsarang Nursing Hospital Kim Jeong-ok (female, oriental doctor, 50) at the Gunsan City Health Center.

In the Imsil area, Jang Jin-hong (59), director of the Central Nursing Hospital, received the No. 1 vaccination, and as it is being conducted at the same time in nursing hospitals and facilities nationwide on this day, all of them can be called No. 1 vaccinations.

According to Jeonbuk-do, 400 patients under the age of 65 and workers at 8 nursing hospitals and 3 nursing facilities in the province are first vaccinated with the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine.

Jeonju 3 places (10 people) ㆍ Gunsan 8 places (130 people) ㆍ Iksan 1 place (50 people) ㆍ Jeongeup 1 place (10 people) ㆍ Namwon 1 place (20 people) ㆍ Gimje City 1 place (10 people) ㆍ Wanju-gun 10 There are 110 people, 1 place in Imsil-gun (30 people), and 2 places in Gochang-gun (30 people).

Other cities and counties plan to start vaccinations in earnest from March 3, taking into account weekends, holidays, and medical staff in nursing hospitals.

Nursing hospitals are vaccinated themselves, nursing facilities can be vaccinated by a part-time doctor or a health center visiting vaccination team, and workers can visit a public health center to inoculate.

The AZ vaccine should be vaccinated twice every 8 to 12 weeks, and workers at high-risk medical institutions (health practitioners) and corona first responders will be vaccinated in sequence from March.

Jeonbuk-do plans to install 15 vaccination centers and entrust vaccinations to 650 medical institutions to complete vaccinations for 1.54 million residents of the province by December in accordance with the order set by the government.

On the other hand, before vaccination, you must maintain a healthy body and stay at the vaccination institution for 15 to 30 minutes after vaccination to observe whether any adverse reactions occur.

If you suspect that you are infected with COVID-19, or if you have an acute condition such as a fever of 37.5 degrees or more, you must postpone vaccination.

After vaccination, if local reactions such as pain, swelling, redness, and systemic reactions such as fever, fatigue, headache, muscle pain, nausea, and vomiting appear, prompt coping is required. It is known to disappear within days.

If hives appear on your skin, shortness of breath, swollen tongue, or dizziness persists, you should call 911 immediately or visit the nearest emergency room for medical treatment.

For mild pain, it may be helpful to apply a cold compress to the pain area with a clean towel or to take a pain reliever containing'acetaminophen', which has analgesic and antipyretic effects, rather than an anti-inflammatory type pain reliever. did.
