전북 전주 예수병원이 중증 소아환자 진료를 전담하는 '소아전문 응급의료센터'로 최종 선정됐다.

 

31일 예수병원에 따르면 보건복지부는 소아응급의료 인프라 확대를 위해 지난해 10월부터 소아전문 응급의료센터 2개소 선정을 위해 공모를 진행했다.

 

소아전문 응급센터는 24시간 소아환자의 중증진료를 맡는 응급 의료기관으로 지난 2016년부터 매년 추가 지정돼 왔다.

 

현재 서울대병원ㆍ서울 아산병원ㆍ연세대 의과대학 세브란스병원ㆍ길의료재단 길병원ㆍ세종충남대학교병원ㆍ순천향대학교 부속 천안병원 등 10곳과 소아전용응급실 운영기관 2개소가 운영 되고 있다.
