전북의 백년을 디자인하는 정책의제 발굴을 위한 포럼이 열렸다.

전북연구원은 14일 전북특별자치도청 대공연장에서 '전북 동포(고려인)마을, 왜 그리고 어떻게?'를 주제로 '제1회 백년포럼'을 개최했다.

'백년포럼'은 분야별 최고 수준의 전문가 초청 강연을 통해 전북의 백년을 디자인하고 전북 발전을 선도할 수 있는 아이디어 및 정책의제를 발굴하기 위해 마련됐다.

전북특별자치도가 주최하고 전북연구원과 전주상공회의소가 공동 주관해 매월 2~3회 개최 될 예정이다.

이번 포럼에서 한국외국어대학교 사학과 임영상 명예교수는 특강을 통해 생활인구로 외국인 주민의 중요성 및 외국 국적 동포를 고려한 지역특화형 비자 사업에 대한 인사이트를 제시했다.
