전북 김제시는 5월 가정의 달을 맞아 효(孝) 의미를 되새기며 온 가족이 즐길 수 있는 '마당극 퓨전 심청전'을 문화예술회관 무대에 올린다.

오는 5월 7일 오후 7시에 선보이는 이번 공연은 우리의 고전 심청전에 등장하는 인물의 이야기를 해학과 감동이 있는 마당극으로 재구성한 작품이다.

아버지의 눈을 뜨게 하려고 군(軍)에 입대하는 심청이 등 우리가 알고 있던 고전 이야기를 새롭게 재해석해 웃음과 해학 속에 숨겨진 감동을 느낄 수 있다.
