K-탄소복합재 기술이 전 세계에 선보였다.

한국탄소산업진흥원은 "프랑스 파리에서 열린 세계 최대 규모의 복합소재 박람회 'JEC World 2023'에 참가해 지난 25일부터 3일간 '탄소소재로 여는 미래 복합재산업 혁신'을 주제로 탄소복합재 관련 국내기업과의 공동연구 성과를 전시하고 있다"고 27일 밝혔다.

이 박람회에 전 세계 44개국 1,300여개 복합재 관련 업체가 참여한 가운데 진행됐다.

한국탄소산업진흥원은 이번 전시에서 AI를 활용해 최적화한 탄소섬유용 사이징제와 이를 적용해 기능성을 높인 탄소섬유를 처음으로 선보였다.

특히 국도화학ㆍ한국카본ㆍ한국항공우주ㆍ한화첨단소재ㆍ효성첨단소재 등 국내 주요 기업의 우주항공 및 모빌리티 분야에서의 탄소복합재 적용 기술을 소개하고 글로벌 협력네트워크 구축의 기회도 마련했다.

또 ㈜데크카본ㆍ㈜에스컴텍ㆍ㈜대신테크젠ㆍ일성기계공업(주) 등 국내 우수 중소기업 4곳의 제품 전시를 진행해 전 세계 복합소재 기업들과 협력 네트워킹 및 비즈니스 기회 역시 제공했다.
