세계디지털야영대회에 참가한 지도자 그리고 청소년 여러분 반갑습니다.

 

코로나-19와 함께 보낸 올해 명절은 어떻게 보내셨는지 궁금합니다.

 

코로나-19가 우리의‘미풍양속’의 뿌리 깊은 정서마저 한순간 뒤집어 놓았습니다.

 

앞으로는 점점 더 비대면(언택트)이라는 새로운 문화가 정착되면서 다양한 방식과 문화들이 달라질 것이라 생각됩니다.

 

유난히 길었던 장마와 무더운 여름이 지나가고 아름다운 가을, 결실의 계절인 10월이 다가서 있습니다.

 

본연의 스카우트운동이 대자연에서 마음껏 뛰 놀며 스카우트활동을 하는 것이라면 이번 '세계디지털야영대회'는 비대면으로 온라인 공간에서 전 세계 지구촌 청소년이 함께 만날 수 있는 기회가 된다는 점에서 새로운 도전이라 생각됩니다.

 
코로나 바이러스 감염증으로 전 세계가 유례없는 충격으로 휩싸여 있습니다.

 

생각보다 그 영향력은 정치ㆍ경제ㆍ사회ㆍ비즈니스 등 어느 하나 영향이 미치지 않는 곳이 없을 정도로 코로나바이러스로 세계가 변화하고 있습니다.

 

우리 스카우트운동도 이번 세계디지털야영대회를 시작으로 새로운 패러다임의 준비를 위해 기반을 구축하며 디지털 환경에 적응하고 온라인 플랫폼으로 변화해나가기 위한 첫 걸음이 되어야 할 것입니다.

 

특히, 16가지의 프로그램과 미션을 통해 여러분들이 서로의 생각을 공유하는 시간과 더불어 다양한 문화권의 친구들과 진정한 스카우트다움에 대해 고민해 보는 시간이 되기를 바랍니다.

 

아울러 앞서가는 스카우트 리더가 되기 위해 이번 대회에 적극적으로 참여해 여러분의 재능을 마음껏 펼칠 수 있는 시간이 되기를 바랍니다.

 

전북 부안 새만금에서 개최될 2023 제25회 세계스카우트잼버리 개최까지 앞으로 1,000여일 남아있습니다.

 

이번 세계스카우트잼버리는 '디지털잼버리ㆍ평화잼버리ㆍ환경잼버리'로 명명하고 지구촌이 하나 되고 대한민국이 함께하는 청소년 대축제이자 행사로 기획하여 청소년들의 삶에 있어 가장 소중히 기억되는 잼버리가 될 수 있도록 심혈을 다해 노력하겠습니다.

 

성공적인 제25회 세계스카우트잼버리를 위해 이번 세계디지털야영대회에 참가하신 우리 스카우트 지도자 여러분과 대원들이 한마음 한뜻으로 적극 동참해주시기를 바라며 힘을 모아 최고의 잼버리로 기억 될 수 있도록 함께 만들어갑시다.
