전북소방본부가 3차원 가상세계인 메타버스를 기반으로 소방교육 및 훈련 개발에 따른 TF팀 운영을 위해 14일 '전문협의체'회의를 개최했다.

이번 회의는 디지털트윈 플랫폼 기반으로 실제 건물과 동일한 공간정보를 활용한 가상공간에서 훈련과 실감형 VR콘텐츠를 활용한 가상화재 진압훈련 개발에 민ㆍ관ㆍ공이 연대하기 위해 향후 계획을 논의하는 형식으로 이뤄졌다.

특히 코로나19 장기화 여파로 사회적 거리두기가 적용되고 있는 상황에 소방훈련에 따른 출동공백과 민간의 불편 해소 및 현실감 있는 비대면 훈련체계 구축을 통해 현장 대응역량을 강화하기 위한 방안이 심도 있게 논의됐다.
