전북 전주시가 지리적ㆍ역사적으로 심장부에 있는 '종합경기장'철거를 위한 행정절차에 돌입했다.

전주시는 "마이스(MICE)산업 중심의 복합공간인 전시컨벤션센터 건립을 위한 부지를 확보하기 위해 총사업비 110억원을 투입, 노후화된 전주종합경기장을 철거할 계획"이라고 12일 밝혔다.
