(사)노령역사문화연구원이 오는 24일 전북 정읍 청소년수련관에서 '정읍사 망부석과 그 위치'라는 주제로 첫 학술대회를 개최한다.

이번 학술대회는 정읍ㆍ고창ㆍ장성ㆍ광주권 등 노령권 유역 지역 사(史) 연구 첫 번째로 '백제가요 정읍사' 위치 고중을 위해 마련됐다.

전북 정읍은 천년 부부사랑을 기리는 현존하는 백제가요 '정읍사(井邑詞 = 악학궤범 5권)' 본향으로 1300년 전, 행상을 떠난 남편의 무사 귀환을 기다리다 돌이 되었다는 백제 여인의 망부석(望夫石)을 찾기 위한 학술연구가 그동안 다양하게 진행됐다.
