독일 루트비히스부르크를 모델로 삼은 '호박축제'가 오는 30일까지 전북 부안군 위도면 치도리 일원에서 열린다.

 

호박과 문화예술을 주제로 첫 선을 보인 '제1회 위도 호박축제' 개막식은 28일 위도 해수욕장 특설무대에서 권익현 부안군수와 전북도 천선미 문화체육관광국장ㆍ부안군 최연곤 산업건설국장ㆍ김현구 위도면장ㆍ백은기 위도 호박축제위원장ㆍ김귀옥 총감독을 비롯 지역 주민과 관광객 등 1,000여명이 참석한 가운데 성황리에 열렸다.

 

백은기 위도 호박축제위원장은 "축제를 준비하기 위해 지역 주민들이 외국의 각양각색의 씨앗을 구해 직접 키웠는데 당초 계획보다 많은 양을 수확하지 못해 아쉬움이 있지만 모두가 열정적으로 지난 1년 동안 축제를 준비했다"며 '제1회 위도 호박축제' 개막을 선언했다.
